MINISTRY OF VISITING THE SICK
The active ministry of Visitors of the Sick at Blessed John XXIII Parish offers the opportunity to those who feel called to this ministry, to participate as me mbers of the same body… the Body of Christ.
The Grace Hospital Team visits on Thursday mornings at 10:00 a.m. to bring the Eucharist to the Catholics at the Hospital. A commitment would be approximately once every four weeks.
We also visit:
- Golden West Centennial Lodge: (First Wednesday of each month at 2:30 pm)
- Heritage Lodge: (Third Thursday of each month at 2:00 pm)
- Sturgeon Creek Phase I Retirement Home (Last Tuesday of each month at 1:00 pm)
- Sturgeon Creek Phase II Retirement Home (Second Friday of each month at 10:45 am)
On request, we also visit and bring Eucharist to any of our parishioners who are confined to their homes and are
therefore unable to attend our liturgies.
